Revved Up: My Wild Ride in Motorsports

I’ve always believed that life is better lived at full throttle. Born in Miami but adopted by the neon glow of Las Vegas, I found my calling where rubber meets road—and where Vegas meets velocity. My journey started as a go-karting prodigy, tearing up tracks and learning the art of precision and speed. But as much as I loved the adrenaline rush of racing, I was equally fascinated by the stories behind the sport—the strategies, the rivalries, and the split-second decisions that make or break champions.

Fast forward to today, and I’ve traded my racing helmet for a media badge, but my passion for motorsports hasn’t slowed down one bit. From the Las Vegas Motor Speedway media booth to the F1 Paddock Club, I’ve been lucky enough to witness the sport’s biggest moments up close. Whether I’m breaking down NASCAR drafting strategies for diehards or explaining DRS zones to F1 newbies, I thrive on making motorsports accessible, exciting, and just a little bit Vegas-flavored.

Vegas is more than my home—it’s my vibe. I bring Sin City swagger to everything I do, whether it’s calling out questionable pit stops or interviewing drivers under the glow of the Sphere. My weekly "Vegas Voltage" column for Speed Sport lets me dive deep into the technical side of racing, while my signature series like "The House Always Wins" and "Hot Lap Hot Takes" give me a chance to mix analysis with entertainment. And yes, I’ll fight anyone who says F1’s Vegas race shouldn’t always be at night.

I’m not just here to report on motorsports—I’m here to live it. From wearing racing gloves as a fashion statement to referencing the 1980s Caesars Palace parking lot F1 races in every third article, I’ve made motorsports my lifestyle. Whether I’m tracking Vegas-born racers through feeder series, reviewing $28 lobster cones at the Paddock Club, or playfully clashing with street circuit critics, I’m all in.

Motorsports is my passion, my playground, and my purpose. And as long as there’s a track to cover and a story to tell, I’ll be here, revved up and ready to go.
